1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Vanta Sports Coach App ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. You must be at least 18 years old to use this App as a coach.

2. Description of the App

The Vanta Sports Coach App allows coaches to manage their teams, track attendance, communicate with players and parents, collect payments, and view player practice data. The App may integrate with the broader Vanta Sports platform for clubs.

3. Account Requirements

To use the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity on your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Player Data Responsibilities

As a coach, you may have access to player data including personal information and practice statistics. You agree to:

• Use player data only for legitimate coaching purposes
• Not share player data with unauthorized parties
• Respect player privacy and data protection rights
• Only connect with players who have consented to share data
• Comply with applicable safeguarding regulations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Misrepresent your coaching credentials or authority
• Use player data for marketing or commercial purposes
• Attempt to contact players outside of appropriate channels
• Share inappropriate content with players or parents

6. Safeguarding

You acknowledge your responsibilities regarding the safeguarding of young people. You agree to comply with all applicable safeguarding policies and regulations. Vanta Sports reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where safeguarding concerns arise.

7. Payment Collection (Stripe Connect)

The App allows coaches and organisation administrators to collect payments from parents and guardians via Stripe Connect. By setting up payment collection, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

7.1 Stripe Connected Account

To collect payments, you must set up a Stripe Connected Account through the App. This requires you to:

• Complete Stripe's identity verification (Know Your Customer) process, which may include providing government-issued identification and banking details
• Agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement
• Ensure all information provided to Stripe is accurate and up to date

7.2 Merchant of Record

When you collect payments via Stripe Connect, you are the merchant of record. This means:

• Payments are made directly to your Stripe Connected Account
• You are responsible for the goods or services associated with the payment
• You are responsible for handling refund requests from parents/guardians
• You are liable for any payment disputes (chargebacks) on your connected account
• Vanta Sports is not a party to the transaction between you and the parent/guardian

7.3 Platform Fees

Vanta Sports charges a platform service fee on payments processed through your connected account. The standard fee is 2.9% + 30p per transaction. This fee is automatically deducted from each payment before it reaches your connected account. Standard Stripe processing fees apply in addition to the platform fee. The fee rate may be adjusted with prior notice.

7.4 Payouts

Payouts from your Stripe Connected Account to your bank account are managed by Stripe according to their standard payout schedule. Vanta Sports does not control payout timing, amounts, or availability. If your Vanta Sports account is suspended or terminated, any pending payouts will be handled in accordance with Stripe's terms.

7.5 Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations relating to payments you receive. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting income and collecting any applicable taxes. Vanta Sports does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for your tax obligations.

8. Subscriptions & Free Trial

The Vanta Sports Coach App offers premium features through a subscription. The subscription begins with a 7-day free trial, after which you will be automatically charged the subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency

9. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content are owned by Vanta Sports. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for coaching purposes.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these terms, safeguarding concerns, or other legitimate reasons. Upon termination, any active Stripe Connect account will continue to be governed by Stripe's terms regarding pending payouts and obligations.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
