American football formations and positions.
American football is played eleven a side on a field 120 yards long, including a 10 yard end zone at each end, and 53 and a third yards wide. A match is four quarters of 15 minutes, with the clock stopping between plays. A touchdown is worth six points, with one or two more from the conversion, a field goal three and a safety two.
