How we make money
Where the money comes from.
Stripe takes its standard cut on payments your club chooses to collect online, and that funds the platform. If your club takes subs by bank transfer or cash, we make nothing from you, and nothing about the product is switched off.
What we never do: charge per player, charge per team, charge per season, put a feature behind a plan, or run third-party advertising in an app your child is in.

Is Vanta Sports really free?
Yes, completely free, forever. There are no monthly subscriptions, no per-player fees, no hidden costs and no premium tiers. Every feature is included: team management, scheduling, payments, messaging, attendance, and reports you can take to a committee meeting. Payment processing uses Stripe with standard transaction fees when you choose to collect fees online.
How is it free?
Vanta is funded by the standard transaction fees on payments clubs choose to collect online. That is what keeps the platform free. If your club never collects a penny online, you pay nothing at all: no subscription, no per-player fee, no tier you have to reach.
Are there any transaction fees?
The platform itself is free. Payment processing uses Stripe with standard transaction fees when you choose to collect fees online, and sensitive card details never touch our servers.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. Set your team or club up, add your people and invite parents. Nothing asks for a card, at any point, unless you decide to collect money online.
What is the catch?
That we would rather be the place a club collects its subs than sell it a subscription. If your club never collects online, we make nothing from you, and that is a deliberate trade rather than a loophole we intend to close.
Do coaches need a separate app?
No. Coaching is built into the same app admins and parents use. Coaches manage squads, take the register, build line-ups and message parents from one place.
