Boxing: how it is set up and scored.
Boxing is contested one against one in a roped ring at least 6.1 metres square inside the ropes. A senior bout is three rounds of three minutes, with shorter rounds for younger age groups. Each judge scores every round, usually ten to the winner and nine or fewer to the loser, and the bout goes to whoever wins on most cards unless it ends early by stoppage. World Boxing and England Boxing competition rules apply.
