Dance: how it is set up and scored.
Competitive dancesport is danced by couples on a sprung floor, contesting the standard or Latin dances of their section. A competition runs in rounds, from the first round through semi-finals to a final of six couples where entries allow. Judges mark each couple against the others on the floor in each dance, and the final placings are calculated from those marks under the skating system. WDSF Competition Rules apply.
