Luge: how it is set up and scored.
Luge is an individual sport in which the athlete lies feet first on a small sled and steers down an artificially iced track. A competition is two runs at most events and four at the Olympic Winter Games. The result is the aggregate time across all runs, measured to a thousandth of a second. FIL International Luge Regulations apply.
