Snowboarding: how it is set up and scored.
Snowboarding is an individual sport across several disciplines on snow. Halfpipe, slopestyle and big air are judged, with finals decided on the best of two or three runs scored by a judging panel for difficulty, execution and amplitude. Snowboard cross and parallel events are raced in heats of four or six riders with the leading finishers advancing. FIS Snowboard rules apply, administered in Britain by GB Snowsport.
