Volleyball formations and positions.
Volleyball is played six a side on a court of 18 by 9 metres divided by a net, with each team allowed three touches to return the ball. A match is the best of five sets, the first four played to 25 points and a deciding set to 15, all won by two clear points. Every rally scores a point for the side that wins it. FIVB Official Volleyball Rules apply, administered in England by Volleyball England.
